The Treadmill & Movie Experience

Experience Note: Go find a treadmill and make this experience happen. Be creative of where you find a treadmill. On part B, find a good movie. Go to the red box, look through Netflix; just find an inspirational movie even if it’s one you’ve already seen. Forest Gump, Shawshank Redemption, Rudy, etc.

A. On a treadmill perform:

Run for 4 min. on 5

Run for 4 min. on 6

Run for 4 min. on 7

Run for 3 min. on 7.5

Run for 90 seconds on 8

B. At night, before you go to bed, watch an inspirational movie. (old one or new one). Post what you watched.

C. Right before bed, have a quality prayer experience.

Parking Lot Sprint Experience

A. In a big parking lot, sprint 200 meters in a straight line. These are to be long sprints. Make sure you stay loose and fluent while running them.

…….then rest is walk back. Work on prayer / meditative thought

B. Read in a unique reverent spot for 25 minutes. (park, cemetery, in your car, on a walk, etc)

C. Before bed, have a prayer experience. State all of the things that you are thankful for in your life.

A Quick Note

We are doing this one again. If you didn’t get a chance to do it last week then try to do it this week. If you did it last week, then do it again this week, and be better at it.

 

Jogging, Swimming, & Reading Experience

A. Jog for 20 minutes / treadmill work (5.0) pace (gratitude / prayer)

B. Swim for 20 minutes, in whatever way you know how (low intensity)

C. Read for 20 minutes, or walk listening to an audio book for 20 minutes.

D. Send out a thank you, or I love you text.

Experience Note: Go find a cool pool to swim at. It would be best if there was a pool and a treadmill / indoor track + place to read so that you could do it all in one place. However, be creative, and look to live in the moment of the experience. Also, take a picture and then text me / email me the picture and a short paragraph describing your experience. Make it happen….

A. Go for a 45 minute walk in a unique neighborhood with being plugged into an audio book (spiritual listen).

B. As you walk work on gratitude

C. Call someone you haven’t talked to in a while and seek to have a beautiful conversation with them..

A. Go for a 40 minute hike / walk (low intensity)–with being plugged in to an audio book (spiritual/inspirational listening)

B. On site of hike, read for 20 minutes (spiritual read, on phone, or take book)

C. Take a picture with your phone, and then write a short paragraph about how your experience went, and what you learned.

The Remote Experience

This is a trail along the railroad tracks that I run quite often. Everyone should have 3 or 4 remote spots that they journey to.

A. Go for a 30 minute jog (plugged in, listening to uplifting music). While jogging work on prayer and gratitude. Let the music lead you to daydreaming about positive things.

B. Read for 30 minutes

C. Send out a thank you text to someone.
