A sprinting experience

A. Sprint 200 meters in a straight line on some grass, but then walk back while saying a prayer x 4

B. Walk for 10 minutes while getting lost in gratitude.

C. Read for 20 minutes

A hiking experience 

A. Go for a 35 minute hike, moderate intensity.

B. Sit and be quiet at the top for 10 minutes, getting lost in reflection.

C. Read for 10 minutes

The Lake Swimming Experience

A. Go to a lake and go swimming. Make it playful swimming.

B. Chill out at the lake. Work on living in the moment. Take some time to reflect.

C. Read for 20 minutes

D. Take pictures + email or text them to me, or post them on instagram and tag @dustinlhawkins

A. Go for a hike–it’s the summer. Meet at the top of 27th street at 6pm. We are doing Malans.

Picture was taken in the winter. Oh, how time fly’s. I do a lot of running, sprinting, and reading at this place. We all need a few places…..

 

Jogging, Sprinting, & Reading

A. Run for 5 minutes @ z1 pace (on grass)

B. On grass perform: 4-100 yd. sprints; rest is walk back (prayer/gratitude)

C. Run for 5 minutes @ z1 pace (on grass)

D. Read for 20 minutes on site of experience + meditate/prayer.

GO HIKING

Get out and do a hike everyone. The weather is supposed to break so make it happen. Take pictures, and then post them to your Instagram, Facebook, or wherever; text me or email me.

The picture above is a hike I did last week. It was only about a 20 minute hike but it got my mind right real quick like, and then I was back into the work of the day now being better.

Don’t be afraid to work on yourself through doing quick experiences. Such experiences will break up the monotony of the day and will lead you back to being productive and personable.

Be a searcher, and don’t be lazy. Get out and create. Make it all happen…..

Be Creative!!

A. Go on a 20 minute trail run (plugged in to music)

B. Read for 20 minutes

C. Say out loud all of the things that you are thankful for.

A. Go on a hiking experience at around 8p.m.  Be somewhat intense, but mostly look to enjoy the beauty of the nights scenery. If you have kids, then take them.

B. While walking back on the hike, and as the light of the day is barely hanging on, now say a prayer of gratitude. Have a conversation with you higher power.

Meet at WAR @ 4pm to go hike hidden valley. Make it happen.

B. At the top meditate / pray for 15 minutes or so.

C. On way back, listen to uplifting music.

D. Send out a text of gratitude.
